Project Update

Following on from the fundraising at the The Open the trustees are delighted to announce that the amount raised by the local community is now above £15,000. We continue to receive contribution from across all parts of our community including individuals, families and local business. We would also like to mention GRAHAM construction who are building the new Health Centre in Gullane, and who approached the Trust with a donation in support of the project. With such a great start to our fundraising we are evidencing the cross community desire to have such a facility in Gullane.

Generous Golf Fans

A huge thanks to the generous golfing fans attending the Open at Muirfield this week. A staggering £2,000 was raised via our collecting tins at the Golflink drop off. This could not have happened without the much appreciated help of the Leslie Family, Vivienne Crummey, Suzie Walker, Anna Gordon, Alison Gibb, Nic Wilson and particularly the kids, Archie & Ellie Wilson, Amy Crummey, Lauren & Jess Mackie and Ross Lyle. The trust is indebted to Malcolm Sievwright for organising the licence, the collecting tins, and generally pulling all this together, a great effort.

Making it Happen

A wonderful uptake on our “Sponsor A Square of the Pitch” initiative. Currently 31 squares have been sponsored by the community rasinig £3,100 – just over 25% of our target of £12,000. Thank you to everyone who has donated – it’s greatly appreciated. Look out over the next few days for  updates to our WebSite including a “Friends of the Trust” page together with a running total of monies raised through our various fundraising initiatives.

Together we can make it happen!
